All of Marilynn's music for massage, bodywork, yoga, relaxation, reiki, chakras, feng shui and Tai Chi is soft, ambient and long enough to last the length of a one hour session or class. The CD's are continuous with no breaks between tracks and they have no sudden shifts in mood. Our Moongate Cd's are perfect for the working therapist. There are no vocals and no rhythmic drumming. Vocals can be a distraction and drumming can interfere with your natural rhythm. Marilynn's music is meant to help create an atmosphere of tranquility without distraction. Her music is used all over the USA by professional massage therapists, hypnotists, spa resorts and day spas, reiki masters, yoga and Tai Chi instructors, for reflexology, acupuncture and physical therapy. ABOUT THE CHAKRAS AND COLOR THERAPY:
The seven chakras or energy openings of the human body each have their own frequency or musical pitch. Each Moongate CD was composed in several different musical keys to give healing benefits to different parts of the body, to open specific chakras and to work on energy flow. Each color also has a frequency in the color spectrum which corresponds to a music pitch. For instance the crown chakra is the key of B which corresponds to the color violet. The body worker who is aware of the clients' specific energy & healing needs will be able to enhance the massage or bodywork experience by using the appropriate music and corresponding color (sheets, towels, candles etc). HOW MOONGATE MUSIC WORKS TO HEAL & OPEN THE CHAKRAS:
The Moongate CDs are designed to work together as a package. If you have all of the CDs you will have music that will cover almost all of the bodywork and energy needs of your clients from infant to geriatric massage and in between. FEATHERTOUCH starts in the root chakra key of C and slowly goes through all the keys up to the key of B, the crown chakra for the first half of the CD. In the second half, the keys wind down again to close the chakras. This CD will work on all of chakras during a bodywork session. THREADS OF VIOLET LIGHT is primarily in the keys of A and B to work on opening the third eye and crown chakras. It is also perfect for meditation. DRAGON & PHOENIX is pimarily in the keys of C, D, E and works on the bottom three chakras for balance and grounding. ALONG THE SILK ROAD is in the keys of F and G and helps to heal and open up the heart and throat chakras. Use this music for somone who is grieving or is having trouble dealing with loss. BLACK DRAGON is more energetic can be used to help energize someone recovering from illness or emotional stress. Our newest release VOICES IN THE LIGHT uses subtle choir voices chanting on the syllables ooo and ahh blended with other instruments to help open the heart and throat chakras (keys of F & G).
